| Here
are a few pointers which should help you capture more of the
action:
Shoot a high shutter speed, at least
1/500 of a second whenever possible. This helps eliminate
both camera shake and player movement.
Shoot with a large aperture (low f-stop)
of f/4.0 if possible, or at the most f/5.6. This will blur
the background of the image so the main subject stands out
more.
Use a lower speed film of 200 or 400.
The photos will be less grainy and the colors will be brighter.
Remember though, a grainy washed out image on 800 speed is
still better than a blurry photo on 100 speed film.
Trigger the shutter before the disc
is caught. An auto-focus camera takes time to focus, and shots
before the disc are preferrable to late shots.
