Flatland's third year, and things are starting to come together. The party, dinner, and camping were all conveniently at the fields. The weather was sweltering, unfortunately, but everyone persevered. Saturday night had the third annual Cups tournament, run by the W.A.C. (World Authority on Cups), which was highly competitive again, and a Minneapolis crew took home the hardware. After that, the dancing, to a reasonably good DJ, went till the early hours.
On the Womens side on Sunday, Winnipeg Crave took down the local CHAOS ladies in one semi; Flo of Calgary beat a Minneapolis team in the other semi. Flo defeated Crave in the final.
In Mens, Winnipeg General Strike beat Hot Action of Minneapolis and the CHAOS guys beat Regina's Mangina to advance. CHAOS knocked off the reigning champs in a pretty close final.
