"An ultimate tournament can surely take over a small town to some degree, but it was amazing to look around Waikiki and see the number of players. A day earlier I arrived at a team practice in Ala Moana Park to find four other teams vying for space to drill. Although the first few days of my island stay had been a vacation this was a reminder that 112 other teams would be here intent on more than just lying on the beach.

These photos were shot around my play schedule so not as many teams are here as there should have been, and there was a day when I didn't shoot at all as I cleaned up someone else's tourney program snafu (I'm not bitter, really…).
